Mendoza /Lujan de Cuyo/ Uco Valley
2 Days / 1 day Wine Weekend
 

Arrival Day

You will be greeted by your bilingual host or hostess at the Mendoza airport, then driven by private car to your hotel. After checking in at the hotel, your host will take you into the nearby wine country for a visit to the Catena Zapata Winery. This winery is designed as a replica of a Mayan pyramid. You will take a tour of the winery followed by a tasting session.
After visiting Catena, your host will drive to Ruca Malen Wienry a small boutique winery. Tour the winery and tasting, followed by lunch overlooking the vineyards and the Andes.
After lunch at Ruca Malen, your host will drive to Septima Winery. Tour and tasting. As an option, instead of another winery tour, we can arrange shopping, a tango lesson, or a relaxing massage.

Day 2
After breakfast, a drive through the countryside to the splendid Uco Valley. This is a rural farming and vineyard area close to the Andes and ninety kilometers south of Mendoza City. Your destination is Estancia "Los Chulengos" or “Rancho e Cuero”. Here you will ride horseback in the mystic foothills to take in the awe-inspiring scenery.
After the ride, you'll enjoy a typical Argentine asado (barbecue). The asado will include roasted prime cuts of Argentine beef, sausages, empanadas, fresh salads and bread, everything home made! and of course, a splendid selection of Mendocinean wines. Late afternoon, your host will drive you back to your hotel.


Day 3
After breakfast, your host will escort you back to Mendoza airport and help you with your check-in for your departure. If you have an evening departure, more activities or winery visits can be scheduled this day.
