"I think any traveler would agree that there is nothing like exploring a new destination with a local, someone who has lived in a place, really lived, worked and who loves it. I had never been to South America before. I was traveling alone for a month and did not know what to expect. I had tickets and a hotel room in Buenos Aires. That is all. A friend suggested that I visit Argentina's wine country and she knew just the woman I should get in touch with......
Mendoza is a quick trip from Buenos Aires and it is not to be missed. The country side is beautiful, the vineyards and mountains magnificent (not to mention the wine themselves) and the city is sophisticated with great restaurants, clubs and lots to do.
And then there is Dolores. A national treasure I am sure. I would not have wanted to see the area with anyone else. The minute we met at the airport, I felt like I was visiting an old friend. Dolores is sweet, fun and knows all the great places to go. Her energy was contagious and I looked forward to each day and what we had planned. She arranged wonderful tours and wine tastings as well as delicious lunches and dinners. We socialized with other clients she had which was a wonderful plus. I felt like part of Dolores's family and I felt totally taken care of and comfortable at all times.
Argentina was truly a trip of a life time for me and Dolores and her company made it so. I hope anyone visiting Argentina is able to discover her. I toured the country without feeling like I was on a tour. I was a visitor who was embraced and shown the delights of a city/country that the people at "Tasting Mendoza" are very proud of. I will surely be back if only to visit Dolores and see how successful she has become.!"

“I have traveled to Argentina many times but earlier this year I spent a month there with my wife Linda and another couple from Canada met us for the last two weeks. While in Mendoza we took a wine elaboration course in Spanish and Dolores provided simultaneous translation during the 3 day course. She arranged many wine tours, horseback riding in the Andes followed by a gaucho barbeque, a private gaucho style cookout up in the Andes, an Argentinean chef to visit our apartment to teach us how to prepare authentic Argentinean food etc etc. Dolores is very organized,100%bilingual,well connected and can arrange anything and I mean anything from plastic surgery to wine tours and everything in between. I highly recommend her and her company and best of all she is a lot of fun to be with. "Last April, as part of a month long vacation in Argentina, my wife Sandy and I landed in Mendoza. Although we did not have any firm itinerary, perhaps 2 of the best days of our travel occurred when we hooked up with Dolores Montero. Our visits to the wineries were the best to date (and we have done wine tours in several other countries). Often a part of each visit would start out as the standard public introduction only to turn into behind the scenes samplings and insights; Dolores knows many of the
personnel at many levels at the wineries. As our time together increased, it became clear that Dolores was not just our guide, she became a friend.
With sincerity and openness, we got an increased understanding of Argentina and its people. There is still a lot of the world left for us to see and there are probably not that many places we will visit a second time, but Mendoza and Dolores were such a special treasured time that Sandy and I do believe we will again travel with Dolores."

I'm in Love! After 2 weeks in beautiful Mendoza I was totally in love with this wonderful area of Argentina. I had no idea how interesting it would be but thanks to the lovely "Dolo" I had a adventure every day! She knows every inch of Mendoza and I think almost every other person! Her organization and suggestions made everything so enjoyable and easy. I had so much fun I returned months later. I would highly recommend Tasting Mendoza to anyone who loves nature, wine, food and great people!

Mendoza foi uma surpresa maravilhosa, a região parecia ser interessante pelas descrições que eu havia lido, porém descobri que era muito mais do que interessante, a região é linda, tem grande comida e vinhos incomparáveis.
Mas o que fez com que eu pudesse descobrir tudo que a região tinha a oferecer foi ter tido a felicidade de contratar a Tasting Mendoza. A cidade de Mendoza em si é pequena e as principais atrações estão fora dela, sem um guia acho que teria ficado perdido e não teria visitado metade do que visitei, muito menos aproveitado as visitas da melhor forma possível. O que difere Tasting Mendoza de outras agências com quem conversei, é a atenção e o carinho com que fomos tratados, do momento em que fomos pegos no aeroporto até o momento de retornar ao aeroporto. O serviço é totalmente personalizado, o pessoal não está somente acompanhando os turistas, eles entendem profundamente do assunto, desde a fabricação do vinho até fazer um bom churrasco com aquela carne maravilhosa. Recomendo a qualquer um pensando em ir visitar a Argentina, que visite Mendoza, e se o fizer, que o
faça com a Tasting Mendoza de modo a aproveitar tudo o de melhor que a cidade e a área tem a oferecer."
